James Suckling 93 Points
This is very ripe with toffee, spice, truffles, and chocolate, as well as ripe-fruit and meat character on the nose and palate. Full body, soft tannins and a flavorful finish. Drink or hold.
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points
Just another sensational value from this incredible vintage, the 2009 from Lilian Ladouys is a rounded, fruit loaded beauty that gives up tons of cassis, licorice, toasted spice, cedar and hints of sweet oak. This full-bodied, forward, sexy red is based on a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, and should drink nicely for at least a decade. Readers should be happy if they have a case of this in the cellar. (Drink between 2017-2027)
